Ferry Services in Davao

Passengers with final destinations on the Island Garden City of Samal and other nearby islands may take the ferry service for convenient transportation.

Upon arrival at Davao International Airport, passengers may take other forms of transport such as car rentals or taxis to Sta. Ana Wharf located in Agdao, Davao City, Davao del Sur.

Alternatively, passengers can arrange ferry transportation with their hotel.

Taxi to/from Sta. Ana Wharf

A one-way trip from Davao International Airport to Sta. Ana Wharf (and vice versa) costs around $4 only. The distance between the two points is 8 kilometers and will take 15 minutes.

Passengers to Sta. Ana Wharf can get a taxi waiting area from the DVO ground transport center outside the arrival area.

There are several boat trips from Sta. Ana Wharf to the famed Samal Island daily.

Talicud Island in the Island Garden City of Samal across the narrow strait from Davao City is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Mindanao.

Travel time takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes between two points. A one-way boat fare costs $2-$4.

During weekends, the ports get crowded. Passengers must arrive earlier to make sure they get a seat. No reservations of seats are available at the piers.

Please ask for detailed information at the Port before proceeding to your destination on the island.
